Thank You Notes
Cascade AIDS Project
Dear Cheryl,
I am writing to thank you again for your in-depth expanation of disability law and the Ticket to Work program before our group. With a record crowd having shown up, many in the group believed that the professional manner with which you facilitated such a large number of people aided in their comprehension of the key topics. I can't thank you enough for the vast pro-bono work you continue to offer. Should I encounter any current or future clients who have concerns about disability law and the law's relevance to them, I know where to send them for expert and more importantly, compassionate representation.

With sincere appreciation and warmest thanks to you!

The Coalition Advocating for Transportation Solutions (CATS)
Dear Mr. Thomas,
Thank you so much for coming to share your wisdom with the Lewis & Clark Law School community in the Bike Legal Clinic on Tuesday, October 4. The attendees loved it – and really appreciated your approach to the law. We've spoken to both regular commuters and casual cyclists who learned something new. And we all loved your legal guides and other handouts (we see people wearing those cool little bike pins around campus all the time)!
We hope you'll join us again next year for another Bike Legal Clinic. L&C's Coalition Advocating for Transportation Solutions – and the community as a whole – is lucky to have you as a resource.
Many thanks and best regards,
The Coalition Advocating for Transportation Solutions

Gracie's Wrench
Ray,
Thank you so much for the packet of materials you sent me at Gracie's Wrench. As I regularly teach group workshops on everyday cycling and commuting, it's very helpful to have extra resources for attendees. I appreciate the bicycle cards and the "Pedal Power" as I sometimes get questions I need to reference.
Thanks again. I appreciate your efforts in making cycling safer for everyone!

NW Bicycle Safety Council
Raymond Thomas,
Thank you for the Free Vehicle Law Class for Bicyclists schedule. As you may recall, NW Bicycle Safety Council has your Pedal Power link on our website.
Since 1996, I have been to many of Ray's classes and find them very informative and the best that Portland has to offer.
We have been referring attendee's of our bicycle safety clinics to your site as recently as this past Tuesday night at the City of Portland Office of Transportation Senior Adult Bicycle Safety Clinic.
Thank you for keeping us in the loop. The deck of cards are awesome!

Oregon Paralyzed Veterans of America
Dear Cheryl,
On behalf of The Oregon Paralyzed Veterans of America, I would like to sincerely thank you for your generous donation of a beautiful gift basket. Your donation was used in the silent auction during the annual member banquet. Currently we have over 390 members. We are a major force in the disability community committed to enhancing the quality of life, addressing the needs and concerns, and protecting the rights of veterans who have sustained injury or disease of the spinal cord. In keeping with the mission, Oregon PVA's efforts benefit persons with spinal cord impairment. The Oregon Paralyzed Veterans of America isa 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization chartered in 1976 which funds its programs through general donations and grants; the organization does not receive state or federal funding. However, none of this would be possible without our community partners like you. Thank you so much for making a difference in the lives of veterans that lasts a lifetime.
Sincerely,
Mindy Loosli

Portland Parks & Recreation
Greetings Ray,
As a representative of Portland Parks & Recreation City Nature, I would like to convey my sincere thanks for the invaluable contribution of you and your staff to our natural area restoration program on July 15, 2011. The use of your boat for transportation as well as your staff's time to remove invasive English Ivy and trash made a considerable improvement to Oaks Crossing Natural Area.
While Oaks Crossing is not a large or well-known park, it still provides valuable habitat for wildlife along the Willamette River. Our vision for the park is to eventually re-plant native species in the area where we removed the invasive ivy and your group helped us get one step closer to realizing that vision. I hope that in the coming years you and your staff can return to this site to see it change and improve over time.
I work with thousands of volunteers every year and I would like to emphasize what a true pleasure it was to work with your staff. The positive, upbeat attitude of the group was very impressive and made the day especially enjoyable for me!
Kind regards,
Marissa Dorais
