Communication with our clients is a priority. Our legal assistant and paralegal are the critical link between the attorney and clients. Elisabeth Rennick

Elisabeth Rennick

A Wisconsin native, Elisabeth recently moved to Portland after graduating from Grinnell College with a degree in Spanish and Political Science. After making her journey westward, she joined Swanson, Thomas, Coon & Newton in June of 2011. She has enjoyed working with the Social Security team here at STCN in advocating for others. Her main area of interest is law, but she is also an activist on issues of immigrant and human rights.


Nora Coon

Nora Coon

Born and raised in Portland, Nora graduated from Grinnell College with a B.A. in English.  She interned with Congressman Earl Blumenauer and worked at a Bay Area nonprofit before joining Swanson, Thomas, Coon & Newton in January of 2011. Her interests include affordable healthcare, community homeless services, and pedestrian awareness. Nora is a member of the Board of Street Roots. In her free time, Nora enjoys cooking, writing, and rooting for the Portland Timbers. Nora is the author of three published books; her most recent book is The Diabetes Game, a nonfiction guide for teenagers with diabetes.
