Social Security Disability during Government Shutdown

Here’s what we know:

• Scheduled hearings will go forward.
• New hearings will not be scheduled.
• On-the-Record Requests will not be considered.
• Field offices will stay open but will have limited services.
• New applications for disability benefits can be made.
• Social Security disability payments will be made.
• VA disability payments will be made
